Soma Pavamāna
この短いパヴァマーナ・ソーマ讃歌は、濾し器を通って浄められるソーマを招き、祭主に活力・豊穣・歓喜を勝ち取らせる全勝の力として讃える。子孫に恵まれる宝をもたらし、礼拝者があらゆる艱難を渡り越えるのを助け、霊感に満ちた詩的知性を祭儀の中に、また意識の内なる祭壇に据え給えと願う。

पवस्व गोजिदश्वजिद्विश्वजित्सोम रण्यजित् । प्रजावद्रत्नमा भर ॥
浄めよ、ソーマよ——牛（光線）を得る者、馬（生命力）を得る者、万有を得る者、歓喜を得る者よ。子孫に富む宝をわれらにもたらせ。

पवस्वाद्भ्यो अदाभ्यः पवस्वौषधीभ्यः । पवस्व धिषणाभ्यः ॥
征服されえぬ諸水より、汝は自らを清めよ；諸草木（薬草）より、汝は自らを清めよ；諸ディシャナー（Dhiṣaṇā、霊感の智力）より、汝は自らを清めよ。

त्वं सोम पवमानो विश्वानि दुरिता तर । कविः सीद नि बर्हिषि ॥
汝ソーマ（Soma）、清められゆく者として、あらゆる難路を渡り越えよ；カヴィ（Kavi、聖なる見者）として、われらの内なるバルヒス（barhis、聖座）に坐せ。

पवमान स्वर्विदो जायमानोऽभवो महान् । इन्दो विश्वाँ अभीदसि ॥
清めゆく者よ、スヴァル（svar、太陽界）を見出す者よ；生まれ出でて、汝は偉大となった；インドゥ（Indu）よ、汝は四方より迫りて、すべてを制す。
