この短いパヴァマーナ讃歌は、歌い手たちにガーヤトリー（Gāyatrī）でソーマを讃えるよう呼びかけ、輝く一滴（インドゥ）を、多眼にして遍く知覚する全知の力として称える。詩はソーマの祭儀的な運行――濾し器を突き抜けて壺へと奔流するさま――を追い、その浄化された流れをインドラの内なる歓喜と力とに結びつける。結びでは祈願が述べられ、ソーマが平安へと浄化され、prajāvat retaḥ――生殖力を備え、繁栄をもたらす創造の力――をもたらすよう願う。

प्र गायत्रेण गायत पवमानं विचर्षणिम् । इन्दुं सहस्रचक्षसम् ॥
ガーヤトリー（Gāyatrī）の韻律にて歌え、浄めゆくソーマ（Soma）を、広くはたらく力を。千の眼をもつ光の滴（インドゥ）を。

तं त्वा सहस्रचक्षसमथो सहस्रभर्णसम् । अति वारमपाविषुः ॥
汝、千の眼をもち、また千の力を担う者よ——人々は汝を濾し器に通して浄め、分別の篩を越えさせた。

अति वारान्पवमानो असिष्यदत्कलशाँ अभि धावति । इन्द्रस्य हार्द्याविशन् ॥
浄めゆく者は濾し器の数々を越えて疾走し、壺へと駆け寄り、インドラ（Indra）の心奥へと入りゆく。

इन्द्रस्य सोम राधसे शं पवस्व विचर्षणे । प्रजावद्रेत आ भर ॥
インドラの成就のために、ソーマよ、安らぎへと自らを清めて流れよ、広く働く者よ。子孫に富む精種の力——創造の生成を、ここにもたらせ。
