Soma Pavamāna
ଏହି ସଂକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ପବମାନ ସୋମ ସୂକ୍ତରେ ଛାଣି ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଶୁଦ୍ଧିକୃତ ହେଉଥିବା ସୋମଙ୍କୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରାଯାଇଛି। ସେ ସର୍ବଜୟୀ ଶକ୍ତି ଭାବେ ସ୍ତୁତ, ଯିଏ ଯଜମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାଣବଳ, ସମୃଦ୍ଧି ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଦାନ କରନ୍ତି। ସୋମଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଜା-ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଧନ ଆଣିଦେବାକୁ, ଉପାସକଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତ କଷ୍ଟ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରାଇବାକୁ, ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରେରିତ କାବ୍ୟମୟ ବୁଦ୍ଧିକୁ ଯଜ୍ଞରେ ଓ ଚେତନାର ଅନ୍ତର୍ବେଦୀରେ ଆସୀନ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରାଯାଇଛି।

Mantra 1
पवस्व गोजिदश्वजिद्विश्वजित्सोम रण्यजित् । प्रजावद्रत्नमा भर ॥
ପବିତ୍ର ହେଉ, ହେ ସୋମ—ଗୋଜିତ୍ (କିରଣ-ଗୋମାନଙ୍କର ବିଜେତା), ଅଶ୍ୱଜିତ୍ (ପ୍ରାଣବଳ-ଅଶ୍ୱମାନଙ୍କର ବିଜେତା), ବିଶ୍ୱଜିତ୍ (ସମଗ୍ର ଅସ୍ତିତ୍ୱର ବିଜେତା), ରଣ୍ୟଜିତ୍ (ଆନନ୍ଦର ବିଜେତା); ପ୍ରଜାସମୃଦ୍ଧ ରତ୍ନନିଧି ଆମ ପାଖକୁ ଆଣ।

पवस्वाद्भ्यो अदाभ्यः पवस्वौषधीभ्यः । पवस्व धिषणाभ्यः ॥
ଅଦାଭ୍ୟ (ଅଜେୟ) ଆପମାନଙ୍କୁ ଠାରୁ ତୁମେ ପବିତ୍ର ହେଉ; ଔଷଧିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପବିତ୍ର ହେଉ। ଆମ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ଧିଷଣା (ଧୀ-ଶକ୍ତି/ପ୍ରେରଣା) ଠାରୁ ତୁମେ ପବିତ୍ର ହେଉ।

त्वं सोम पवमानो विश्वानि दुरिता तर । कविः सीद नि बर्हिषि ॥
ହେ ସୋମ, ପବମାନ ହୋଇ ତୁମେ ସମସ୍ତ ଦୁରିତକୁ ପାର କର। କବି (ଋଷି-ଚେତନା) ହୋଇ, ଆମ ଅନ୍ତରର ବର୍ହିଷି (ପବିତ୍ର ଆସନ) ଉପରେ ବସ।

पवमान स्वर्विदो जायमानोऽभवो महान् । इन्दो विश्वाँ अभीदसि ॥
ହେ ପବମାନ, ସ୍ୱର୍-ବିଦ (ସୂର୍ୟଲୋକର ଅନ୍ୱେଷକ), ଜନ୍ମ ନେଇ ତୁମେ ମହାନ, ବିଶାଳ ହେଲ। ହେ ଇନ୍ଦୁ, ତୁମେ ସମସ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଦିଗରୁ ଚାପି ଅଧୀନ କର।
