Soma Pavamāna
ಈ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪವಮಾನ ಸೋಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ಸೋಮನು ಶೋಧಕದ (ಫಿಲ್ಟರ್ನ) ಮೂಲಕ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವಾಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆವಾಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಶಕ್ತಿ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಸರ್ವಜಯಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂತಾನಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಧನವನ್ನು ತರುವಂತೆ, ಭಕ್ತನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಂತೆ ನೆರವಾಗುವಂತೆ, ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಕಾವ್ಯಮಯ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞಕರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚೇತನೆಯ ಆಂತರಿಕ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆಸೀನಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೋಮನನ್ನು ಬೇಡುತ್ತದೆ.

पवस्व गोजिदश्वजिद्विश्वजित्सोम रण्यजित् । प्रजावद्रत्नमा भर ॥
ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗು, ಹೇ ಸೋಮ—ಗೋಜಿತ್ (ಕಿರಣ-ಗೋಗಳ ಜಯಕ), ಅಶ್ವಜಿತ್ (ಪ್ರಾಣಬಲ-ಅಶ್ವಗಳ ಜಯಕ), ವಿಶ್ವಜಿತ್ (ಸರ್ವ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಜಯಕ), ರಣ್ಯಜಿತ್ (ಆನಂದದ ಜಯಕ); ಪ್ರಜಾವಂತ ರತ್ನಧನವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಡು.

पवस्वाद्भ्यो अदाभ्यः पवस्वौषधीभ्यः । पवस्व धिषणाभ्यः ॥
ಅದಾಭ್ಯ (ಅಜೇಯ) ಆಪಗಳಿಂದ ನೀನು ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗು; ಔಷಧಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನೀನು ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗು. ನಮ್ಮ ಧಿಷಣಾ (ಧೀ-ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು/ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಗಳು)ಗಳಿಂದ ನೀನು ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗು.

त्वं सोम पवमानो विश्वानि दुरिता तर । कविः सीद नि बर्हिषि ॥
ಹೇ ಸೋಮ, ಪವಮಾನನಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದುರಿತಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟು. ಕವಿ (ಋಷಿ-ಚೇತನ)ಯಾಗಿ, ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ ಬರ್ಹಿಷಿ (ಪವಿತ್ರ ಆಸನ) ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೋ.

पवमान स्वर्विदो जायमानोऽभवो महान् । इन्दो विश्वाँ अभीदसि ॥
ಹೇ ಪವಮಾನ, ಸ್ವರ್-ವಿದ (ಸೂರ್ಯಲೋಕದ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವ), ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಲೇ ನೀನು ಮಹಾನ್, ವಿಶಾಲನಾದೆ. ಹೇ ಇಂದು, ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಒತ್ತಿ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀ.
