अयं लघुः पवमानसोमसूक्तः सोमबिन्दून् ऋतस्य नियतपथे प्रस्थितान् स्तौति, ये पवित्रेण शुद्ध्यमानाः प्रभास्वराः भवन्ति। अत्र सोमः चेतनः पिङ्गलवर्णः शक्तिरिव निरूप्यते—शोधनानन्तरं स आसनं निषीदति; स्तोतुः प्रेरिता मतिश्च तस्मै परिचर्यायै प्रवर्तते। सूक्तं च प्रार्थनया विस्तरति—एकचित्तविजयाय, धनमधुर्ययशःकीर्तिदीर्घस्थायिधनानां च लाभाय, द्यावापृथिव्योरनुग्रहेण समर्थितम्।
