บทสวดโสมปวมาṇaนี้สรรเสริญโสมที่คั้นแล้วว่าเป็นกระแสอันรวดเร็ว กึกก้องดุจฟ้าร้อง พุ่งทะยานดั่งรถศึก นำพลัง ความอุดม และทัศนะอันเกิดจากแรงบันดาลใจมาสู่ผู้ประกอบยัญพิธี เน้นฤทธิ์แห่งการชำระและทำให้กระจ่างของโสม—ไหลผ่านเครื่องกรอง กลายเป็นผู้เห็นแจ้ง และปลุก “ธิ” (ความคิด/ปัญญาอันดลใจ) ให้ตื่นขึ้น อีกทั้งยกย่องโสมว่าเป็นผู้กู้ทรัพย์ที่ซ่อนเร้นจากพวกปณิ และเป็นผู้ทำให้ “ด้ายที่ขึงไว้” มั่นคง อันเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความสืบเนื่องของพิธีกรรมและการบรรลุรู้
