Is mantra mein Somaji ki tareef hai jo pavitri ho ke bahut tez beh rahe hain. Somaji ki dhara jaise rath daudti hai, aise hi zor se aati hai. Yeh shakti deta hain, khushali laate hain aur jo yagya karta hai usko naya soch dete hain. Somaji chhante se guzar ke saaf ho jaate hain aur accha dikhta hai. Woh Pani log ke chhupe dhan ko wapas laate hain. Somaji dhaga ko mazboot karte hain taaki sab kaam chalta rahe.

एते सोमास आशवो रथा इव प्र वाजिनः । सर्गाः सृष्टा अहेषत ॥
Yeh Soma ki shaktiyan bahut tej hain, jaise rath daudti hai aage. Yeh khushali laane wali shaktiyan hain. Inhe dhaara mein chhod diya gaya hai, aur woh zor se bah rahi hain.

एते वाता इवोरवः पर्जन्यस्येव वृष्टयः । अग्नेरिव भ्रमा वृथा ॥
Yeh hawa ki tarah uddti hain aur aawaz karti hain. Jaise Parjanya devta ki baarish barsati hai, waise hi yeh bhi girte hain. Jaise Agni ki aag ghoomegi, waise hi yeh bhi ghoomegi aur andhera door karegi.

एते पूता विपश्चितः सोमासो दध्याशिरः । विपा व्यानशुर्धियः ॥
Yeh Soma ki shaktiyan saaf ho gayi hain aur unki nazar saaf hai. Inme dahi mila hua hai. Inhone achhi sochein pa li hain aur unhe faila diya hai. Yeh rishi jaisi shaktiyan hain jo dimaag ko kai taraf kholti hain.

एते पृष्ठानि रोदसोर्विप्रयन्तो व्यानशुः । उतेदमुत्तमं रजः ॥
Yeh sab rishiyon ki tarah chale hain aur dono duniya ki unchai tak pahunch gaye hain. Unhone sabse upar wali jagah ko chhua hai, woh sabse badi aur chamakdar jagah.

त्वं सोम पणिभ्य आ वसु गव्यानि धारयः । ततं तन्तुमचिक्रदः ॥
Hey Soma, tum us dhan ko wapas laate ho jo Pani log chhupa ke rakhte the. Tumne ek dhaaga kas ke pakad liya hai, jaise koi kaam poora karne ka raasta ban jaye.
