AVŚ 13.4 ist eine Litanei kosmischer Souveränität, die eine einzige allumfassende Macht mit mehreren Gottheiten identifiziert — Agni, Sūrya, Yama, Mahendra (Indra) sowie verwandten Gestalten wie Aryaman, Varuṇa, Rudra, Mahādeva. Diese Macht ist in dies alles eingegangen; er—dieser eben—ist der Eine, der Ein-Gelobte (ekavrata), wahrlich allein.
