Soma Pavamāna (Indu)

تدعو هذه الترتيلة الوجيزة من تراتيل بافامانا المُنقّاة المُنشدين إلى تمجيد سوما بوزن الغاياتري، محتفيةً بالقطرة اللامعة (إندو) بوصفها قوةً كثيرةَ العيون، شاملةَ الإدراك، ترى كلَّ شيء وتعيه. وتتبع حركة سوما الطقسية—إذ يندفع متجاوزًا المصافي إلى الجرار—وتصل ذلك الجريان المُطهَّر بلذّة إندرا الباطنة وقوّته. وتبلغ الترتيلة ذروتها في دعاءٍ أن يتطهّر سوما إلى سلامٍ وأن يجلب prajāvat retaḥ، أي القوّة الخلّاقة المُولِّدة الحاملة للرخاء والمُثمرة بالنسل.

प्र गायत्रेण गायत पवमानं विचर्षणिम् । इन्दुं सहस्रचक्षसम् ॥
أنشدوا بوزن الغاياتري (Gāyatrī): سوما المُطهِّر، ذو الفعل الواسع؛ الإندو (Indu)، القطرة اللامعة ذات الألف عين (إدراكات لا تُحصى).

तं त्वा सहस्रचक्षसमथो सहस्रभर्णसम् । अति वारमपाविषुः ॥
أنتَ—ذو الألف عين، وحاملُ ألفِ قوةٍ أيضًا—قد طهّروك عبر المِصفاة، متجاوزًا غربالَ الفصل.

अति वारान्पवमानो असिष्यदत्कलशाँ अभि धावति । इन्द्रस्य हार्द्याविशन् ॥
المُطهِّرُ قد اندفع متجاوزًا المِصافي؛ يهرع نحو الجرار، داخلًا إلى قلبِ إندرا (القوة المستنيرة).

इन्द्रस्य सोम राधसे शं पवस्व विचर्षणे । प्रजावद्रेत आ भर ॥
لِتَحَقُّقِ إِندْرَا، يَا سُومَا، تَطَهَّرْ إِلَى السَّلَامِ، يَا ذَا الفِعْلِ الوَاسِعِ؛ وَاحْمِلْ قُوَّةَ البِذْرِ الغَنِيَّةَ بِالنَّسْلِ—صَيْرُورَةً خَلَّاقَةً.
