अयं लघुः काण्वस्तोत्रोऽश्विनौ सर्वेभ्यः विश्वस्थानाभ्यः आह्वयति—दिवो रोचिषः, समुद्रनिलयात्, अन्तरिक्षाच्च—यत् तौ शीघ्रं गायकस्य यज्ञे समागच्छेताम्। तौ विस्तृतज्ञौ हितकरौ स्तूयेताम्, स्वधया स्वयमेव गच्छन्तौ, सोममधु पिबन्तौ; ताभ्यां यज्ञो दृढीभवति ऋषयश्च बलवन्तो भवन्ति।

यत्स्थो दीर्घप्रसद्मनि यद्वादो रोचने दिवः । यद्वा समुद्रे अध्याकृते गृहेऽत आ यातमश्विना ॥
यत्स्थो दीर्घप्रसद्मनि, यद्वा रोचने दिवः; यद्वा समुद्रेऽध्याकृते गृहे—ततोऽस्मान् प्रति आयातम्, हे अश्विनौ।

यद्वा यज्ञं मनवे सम्मिमिक्षथुरेवेत्काण्वस्य बोधतम् । बृहस्पतिं विश्वान्देवाँ अहं हुव इन्द्राविष्णू अश्विनावाशुहेषसा ॥
यद्वा मनवे यज्ञं सम्मिमिक्षथुः स्थापयथश्च—तर्हि काण्वस्य बोधतम्। अहं बृहस्पतिं विश्वान् देवान् इन्द्राविष्णू च, तथा युवामपि—आशुहेषसौ हे अश्विनौ—हुवे।

हे पुरुभुजावश्विनौ! यदन्तरिक्षे पतथः, यद्वेमे रोदसी अनु गच्छथः, यद्वा स्वधाभिरधितिष्ठथो रथम्—अत आ यातम् अस्मान् प्रति।
