Sukta 5.32
त्वमुत्साँ ऋतुभिर्बद्बधानाँ अरंह ऊधः पर्वतस्य वज्रिन् । अहिं चिदुग्र प्रयुतं शयानं जघन्वाँ इन्द्र तविषीमधत्थाः ॥
tvám utsā́m̐ ṛtúbhir badbadhānā́m̐ áraṃha ū́dhaḥ párvatasya vajrin | áhīm̐ cid ugra práyutaṃ śáyānaṃ jaghánvān índra táviṣīm adhatthāḥ ||
വജ്രിനേ! ഋതുക്കളുടെ ഋത (നിയമം)കൊണ്ട് ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഉത്സങ്ങളെ നീ അഴിച്ചു; പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ ഊധഃ (പാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ അകിടുപോലെ വീർപ്പിച്ച ഉറവ) നീ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു. അഹി—ഉഗ്ര സർപ്പം—തന്റെ സംഹത ശക്തിയിൽ നീണ്ടുകിടന്നിരുന്നു; അവനെ വധിച്ച്, ഇന്ദ്രനേ, നീ നിന്റെ തവിഷീ (വിജയശക്തി/പരാക്രമം) സ്ഥാപിച്ചു.
