Sukta 5.32
त्यस्य चिन्महतो निर्मृगस्य वधर्जघान तविषीभिरिन्द्रः । य एक इदप्रतिर्मन्यमान आदस्मादन्यो अजनिष्ट तव्यान् ॥
tyásya cin maható nirmṛgásya vádhar jaghāna táviṣībhir índraḥ | yá éka íd apratír mányamāna ā́d asmā́d anyó ajaniṣṭa távyān ||
ആ മഹത്തായ നിർമൃഗൻ—സ്വേച്ഛയായി അലഞ്ഞുനടക്കുന്ന ‘വന്യൻ’—അവന്റെ സംഹാരക പ്രഹാരം ഇന്ദ്രൻ തന്റെ പ്രചണ്ഡ തവിഷികളാൽ തകർത്തു. കാരണം താൻ ഒരുത്തൻ മാത്രം, പ്രതിരോധമില്ലാത്തവൻ എന്നു കരുതിയവനിൽ നിന്ന് (അഥവാ അവന്റെ ശേഷം) കൂടുതൽ തവിഷിയുള്ള, കൂടുതൽ ശക്തനായ മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ ഉദിച്ചു.
