तमस्य विष्णुर्महिमानमोजसांशुं दधन्वान्मधुनो वि रप्शते । देवेभिरिन्द्रो मघवा सयावभिर्वृत्रं जघन्वाँ अभवद्वरेण्यः ॥
Transliteration
tám asya víṣṇur mahimā́nam ójasāṃśúṃ dadhanvā́n mádhuno ví rapśate | devébhir índro maghávā sayā́vabhir vṛtráṃ jaghánvāṃ abhavad váreṇyaḥ ||
Translation
ヴィシュヌ（Vishnu）は力によってその光線を担い、蜜なる歓喜の広がりとして、彼の偉大を押しひろげる。インドラ（Indra）なる施与者は、神々を同伴として、ヴリトラ（Vritra）を討ち滅ぼし、選ばるべき者――業のために選び取らるべき者となった。
