Sukta 10.113
तमस्य विष्णुर्महिमानमोजसांशुं दधन्वान्मधुनो वि रप्शते । देवेभिरिन्द्रो मघवा सयावभिर्वृत्रं जघन्वाँ अभवद्वरेण्यः ॥
tám asya víṣṇur mahimā́nam ójasāṃśúṃ dadhanvā́n mádhuno ví rapśate | devébhir índro maghávā sayā́vabhir vṛtráṃ jaghánvāṃ abhavad váreṇyaḥ ||
उसकी महिमा को विष्णु, ओज से किरण (अंशु) धारण करके, मधु के आनन्द को विस्तृत करता है। देवों को सहचर बनाकर मघवा इन्द्र ने वृत्र का वध किया और वह वरेण्य—चयनयोग्य, कर्म के लिए वरणीय—हो गया।
