इन्द्रस्य स्तुत्यर्थं त्रिष्टुभा रचितेऽस्मिन् संक्षिप्ते सूक्ते तस्य विस्तीर्णं प्रभुत्वं सर्वान् लोकान् व्याप्नोति, तथा च तस्य जयशक्तिः विश्वे प्रकाशं समन्वयं च स्थापयतीति प्रशंस्यते। इन्द्रकर्म अग्नि/वह्निरूपेण ‘अग्निशक्त्या’ चित्र्यते—या उभे रजसी वितनोति, विदीर्णं तमः ‘सीव्यति’ (स्यूते) च; ततः कविः वाजं (जयबलम्), रक्षां, तथा च गायकानां कृते बह्वीं दक्षिणाम् याचते।
