आ रोदसी अपृणदा स्वर्महज्जातं यदेनमपसो अधारयन् । सो अध्वराय परि णीयते कविरत्यो न वाजसातये चनोहितः ॥
ā ródasī apṛṇad ā svàr maháj jātáṃ yád enam apáso ádhārayan | só adhvarā́ya pári nīyate kavír átyo ná vā́ja-sātaye cánaḥ-hitaḥ ||
เขาเติมเต็มฟ้าและดิน และเติมเต็มโลกอันกว้างใหญ่สว่างไสว เมื่อครั้งกำเนิดของเขา เหล่าพลังแห่งการงาน (Apas) ได้ค้ำจุนเขา แล้วฤๅษีผู้รู้แจ้งนี้ถูกนำเวียนรอบเพื่อยัญพิธี ดุจม้าเร็วเพื่อชนะความอุดมสมบูรณ์ ผู้ถูกตั้งไว้ในหมู่เราเพื่อความเกื้อกูลของเรา
