Transliteration
mádhumantaṃ tanūnapād yajñáṃ devéṣu naḥ kave | adyā́ kṛṇuhi vītáye ||
Translation
ഹേ തനൂനപാത്, ഹേ കവി, ദേവന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ യജ്ഞത്തെ മധുമയമാക്കുക; ഇന്ന് അതിനെ അവരുടെ വീതി (ആനന്ദകരമായ വരവും അനുഭവവും)ക്കായി ഒരുക്കുക.
