दीदिवांसमपूर्व्यं वस्वीभिरस्य धीतिभिः । ऋक्वाणो अग्निमिन्धते होतारं विश्पतिं विशाम् ॥
Transliteration
dīdivā́ṃsam apū́rvyaṃ vásvībhiḥ asya dhītíbhiḥ | ṛkvā́ṇo agním indhate hótāraṃ viśpátiṃ viśā́m ||
Translation
歌う者たちは、豊かな霊感と思惟をもって、常に輝き老いぬアグニ（Agni）を燃え立たせる。彼らは彼を、供儀の祭司ホートリ（Hotṛ）として、また秩序ある生のうちの諸民の主として呼び覚ます。
