یہ مختصر منتر جڑواں طاقتیں اندر اور برہسپتی کو پیش کی گئی قربانی اور سوما قبول کرنے کی دعوت دیتا ہے، اور یہ چاہتا ہے کہ وہ یجش کے ستuti اور خوشی سے راضی ہوں۔ یہ الہی جوڑے سے درخواست کرتا ہے کہ وہ دینے والے کے گھر میں قائم ہوں، اور گھوڑوں، فراوانی اور سینکڑوں گنا بڑھاؤ کے ذریعے خوشحالی اور فتح مند ترقی کی دولت عطا کریں۔

Mantra 1
इदं वामास्ये हविः प्रियमिन्द्राबृहस्पती । उक्थं मदश्च शस्यते ॥
یہ آپ کے منہ کے لیے پیارا ہویا رکھا گیا ہے، اے اندر اور برہسپتی؛ اور اٹھایا ہوا منتر اور جذبہ کا بیان کیا جا رہا ہے۔
Mantra 2
अयं वां परि षिच्यते सोम इन्द्राबृहस्पती । चारुर्मदाय पीतये ॥
یہ سوم آپ دونوں کے لیے چاروں طرف سے ڈالا جا رہا ہے، اے اندر اور برہسپتی، اٹھی ہوئی شعور کے جذبے کے لیے خوشگوار، اندر سے پینے کے لیے۔

आ न इन्द्राबृहस्पती गृहमिन्द्रश्च गच्छतम् । सोमपा सोमपीतये ॥
ہمارے پاس آئیں، اے اندر اور برہسپتی؛ ہمارے وجود کے گھر میں آئیں، اے اندر بھی، سوم پینے والے، اندر سے سوم پینے کے لیے۔

अस्मे इन्द्राबृहस्पती रयिं धत्तं शतग्विनम् । अश्वावन्तं सहस्रिणम् ॥
ہم میں، اے اندر اور برہسپتی، وجود کی پوری پوری رکھیں، بڑھاؤ کی سو تحریکوں سے بھرپور، متحرک طاقتوں کے گھوڑوں سے مالا مال، اپنی وسعت میں ہزار گنا۔

इन्द्राबृहस्पती वयं सुते गीर्भिर्हवामहे । अस्य सोमस्य पीतये ॥
اے اندر اور برہسپتی، ہم آپ کو اپنے الہامی کلمات سے پکارتے ہیں جب سوم پیسا جاتا ہے، اس سوم خوشی کو پینے اور اندر لینے کے لیے۔

सोममिन्द्राबृहस्पती पिबतं दाशुषो गृहे । मादयेथां तदोकसा ॥
سوم پیئیں، اے اندر اور برہسپتی، دینے والے کے گھر میں؛ اس گھر میں خوش ہوں، اسے اپنی مستقل جگہ بنائیں۔

They are called as a pair: Indra represents victorious power and force, while Bṛhaspati represents sacred speech, priestly wisdom, and right guidance. Together they bring success through both strength and insight.
It asks the deities to accept the offering and Soma, to be present in the giver’s home, and to place within the worshippers abundant rayi—prosperity, increase, and victorious well-being.
