Soma Pavamāna
अयं लघुः पवमानसूक्तः सोमं पुनःपुनः स्रवन्तं स्वयमेव पवित्रं रसं आह्वयति, यः यजमानाय पोषणं समृद्धिं च सर्वाङ्गपूर्णं कल्याणं च ददाति। स एनं प्रार्थयति यत् सोमः स्ववीर्येण शीघ्रं वेगेन धावेत्, “गाः” (रश्मीन्/धनानि) “अश्वान्” (ऊर्जः) च प्रकाशयेत्, तथा च अजेयः शत्रून्—अन्तरान् बहिरान् च—जित्वा पराजयेत्।

यवंयवं नो अन्धसा पुष्टम्पुष्टं परि स्रव । सोम विश्वा च सौभगा ॥
अन्धसा नः यवंयवं परि स्रव; पुष्टं पुष्टं वर्धय। सोम, विश्वानि च सौभाग्यानि अस्मभ्यं देहि।

इन्दो यथा तव स्तवो यथा ते जातमन्धसः । नि बर्हिषि प्रिये सदः ॥
इन्दो, यथा तव स्तवः तथा यथा ते जातम् अन्धसः; तथा प्रियॆ बर्हिषि निषीद। अस्माकं संस्कृते चेतनाक्षेत्रे सुप्रतिष्ठितो भव।

उत नो गोविदश्ववित्पवस्व सोमान्धसा । मक्षूतमेभिरहभिः ॥
उत नः, सोम, गोविदश्ववित् पवस्व; अन्धसा मक्षूतमेभिरहभिः सह शीघ्रं प्रवह—अस्माकं प्रगतौ ज्योतिषो बलस्य च वृद्धिं त्वरय।

यो जिनाति न जीयते हन्ति शत्रुमभीत्य । स पवस्व सहस्रजित् ॥
यो जिनाति न जीयते, हन्ति शत्रुमभीत्य—सहस्रजित् सोम, स पवस्व; अस्मासु अजेयां जयिनीं शक्तिं जनय।
