Sukta 2.33
क्व स्य ते रुद्र मृळयाकुर्हस्तो यो अस्ति भेषजो जलाषः । अपभर्ता रपसो दैव्यस्याभी नु मा वृषभ चक्षमीथाः ॥
kvà syá te rudra mṛḷayā́kur hásto yó ásti bheṣajó jálāṣaḥ | apabhartā́ rápaso daívyasyā́bhī nú mā vṛṣabha cakṣamīthāḥ ||
ഓ രുദ്ര, കരുണ കാണിക്കാൻ സന്നദ്ധമായ നിന്റെ ആ കൈ എവിടെയാണ്—ഭേഷജ (ഔഷധം)യായ, ജലാഷ (ശീതളവും തണുപ്പിക്കുന്ന ബാം) നൽകുന്ന ആ കൈ? ഓ വൃഷഭ, ദൈവ്യ രപസ് (ആക്രമണം, ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സമ്മർദ്ദം) നീക്കുന്നവനേ, ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നെ രക്ഷക ദൃഷ്ടിയാൽ നോക്കുക.
