सरस्वति त्वमस्माँ अविड्ढि मरुत्वती धृषती जेषि शत्रून् । त्यं चिच्छर्धन्तं तविषीयमाणमिन्द्रो हन्ति वृषभं शण्डिकानाम् ॥

Transliteration

sárasvati tvám asmā́n aviḍḍhi marútvatī dhṛṣatī́ jéṣi śátrūn | tyáṃ cic chárdhantaṃ taviṣī́-yamāṇam índro hanti vṛṣabháṃ śáṇḍikānām ||

Translation

ഹേ സരസ്വതീ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി തുളച്ചുകയറി പ്രഹരിക്കേണമേ—മരുത്വതീ, ധൃഷ്ടയായവളേ—ശത്രുക്കളെ ജയിക്ക. ശണ്ഡികന്മാരുടെ ആ വൃഷഭൻ, കൂട്ടം കൂട്ടി ബലത്തിൽ വീർപ്പുമുട്ടുന്നവൻ—അവനെ ഇന്ദ്രൻ തകർത്തിടുന്നു.
