Sukta 2.30
सरस्वति त्वमस्माँ अविड्ढि मरुत्वती धृषती जेषि शत्रून् । त्यं चिच्छर्धन्तं तविषीयमाणमिन्द्रो हन्ति वृषभं शण्डिकानाम् ॥
sárasvati tvám asmā́n aviḍḍhi marútvatī dhṛṣatī́ jéṣi śátrūn | tyáṃ cic chárdhantaṃ taviṣī́-yamāṇam índro hanti vṛṣabháṃ śáṇḍikānām ||
ஓ சரஸ்வதி! மருத்வதீ, த்ருஷதீ—எங்களுக்காகப் பிளந்து தாக்கு; பகைவர்களை வெல்லு. மேலும் சண்டிகர்களின் அந்தக் காளை—கூட்டத்தைத் திரட்டி, வலிமையில் பெருகி எழுந்தவனையும்—இந்திரன் தள்ளி வீழ்த்துகிறான்.
