असामि हि प्रयज्यवः कण्वं दद प्रचेतसः । असामिभिर्मरुत आ न ऊतिभिर्गन्ता वृष्टिं न विद्युतः ॥
Transliteration
asā́mi hí prayajyaváḥ káṇvaṃ dadá pracétasaḥ | asā́mibhir maruta ā́ na ūtíbhiḥ gántā vṛ́ṣṭiṃ ná vidyútaḥ ||
Translation
നിങ്ങൾ അശ്രാന്തരാണ്, ഹേ യജ്ഞപ്രിയരേ, ഹേ പ്രചേതസഃ (പ്രബുദ്ധരേ) മരുതന്മാരേ—കണ്വനു നിങ്ങൾ ദാനം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ മരുതന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അശ്രാന്ത ഊതികളോടെ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വരിക—മഴപോലെ, മിന്നലിന്റെ വിമോചന-പ്രകാശംപോലെ.
