असामि हि प्रयज्यवः कण्वं दद प्रचेतसः । असामिभिर्मरुत आ न ऊतिभिर्गन्ता वृष्टिं न विद्युतः ॥
Transliteration
asā́mi hí prayajyaváḥ káṇvaṃ dadá pracétasaḥ | asā́mibhir maruta ā́ na ūtíbhiḥ gántā vṛ́ṣṭiṃ ná vidyútaḥ ||
Translation
कारण, हे प्रचेतस, यज्ञप्रिय मरुतांनो! तुम्ही अथक आहात; तुम्ही कण्वाला (दान/अनुग्रह) दिले आहे. हे मरुतांनो! तुमच्या अथक ऊतींसह आमच्याकडे या—वृष्टीसारखे, विद्युत्च्या विमोचनासारखे.
