हिमेनाग्निं घ्रंसमवारयेथां पितुमतीमूर्जमस्मा अधत्तम् । ऋबीसे अत्रिमश्विनावनीतमुन्निन्यथुः सर्वगणं स्वस्ति ॥
himénāgníṃ ghraṃsám avārayethāṃ pitu-mátīm ūrjáṃ asmā adhattam | ṛbī́se átrim aśvināv ava-nītám ún ninyathuḥ sárva-gaṇaṃ svastí ||
ശീതത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിയുടെ കാഠിന്യം തടഞ്ഞു; അവനിൽ പിതുമതി—പോഷക അന്നരസസമ്പന്നമായ—ഊർജം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. കുഴിയിൽ മുങ്ങിയ അത്രിയെ, ഹേ അശ്വിന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തി; അവന്റെ മുഴുവൻ ഗണത്തെയും സ്വസ്തിയിലേക്കും സുരക്ഷയിലേക്കും നയിച്ചു.
