देवाश्चित्ते असुर्याय पूर्वेऽनु क्षत्राय ममिरे सहांसि । इन्द्रो मघानि दयते विषह्येन्द्रं वाजस्य जोहुवन्त सातौ ॥
Transliteration
devāś cit te asuryā́ya pū́rve ’nu kṣatrā́ya mamire sahā́ṃsi | índro maghā́ni dayate viṣáhya índraṃ vā́jasya johuvanta sātáu ||
Translation
古の神々さえも、汝のアスラ（主宰）的威力のために、汝の王権の力に従って諸々の力を量り定めた。インドラは打ち破り難き豊饒の賜物を与える。力の充満を勝ち取る戦いにおいて、人々はインドラを幾度も呼び立てる。
