असावि देवं गोऋजीकमन्धो न्यस्मिन्निन्द्रो जनुषेमुवोच । बोधामसि त्वा हर्यश्व यज्ञैर्बोधा नः स्तोममन्धसो मदेषु ॥

Transliteration

asā́vi deváṃ goṛ́jīkam ándho nyàsmin índro jánuṣem uvoca | bodhā́masi tvā haryáśva yajñáir bódhā naḥ stómaṃ ándhaso mádeṣu ||

Translation

神聖なる搾りはすでに顕された――光を勝ち取るソーマ（Soma）の汁。その中でインドラ（Indra）は、生まれながらにして語った。われらは祭儀によって汝を呼び覚ます、黄駒の御者よ。ソーマの恍惚（mada）のうちに、われらのためにこの讃歌に目覚めよ。
