स तु श्रुधीन्द्र नूतनस्य ब्रह्मण्यतो वीर कारुधायः । त्वं ह्यापिः प्रदिवि पितॄणां शश्वद्बभूथ सुहव एष्टौ ॥
Transliteration
sa tu śrudhīndra nūtanasya brahmaṇyato vīra kāru-dhāyaḥ | tvaṃ hy āpiḥ pra-divi pitṝṇāṃ śaśvad babhūtha su-hava eṣṭau ||
Translation
ゆえに聞け、インドラよ、ブラフマン（brahman）を求める者の新しき言葉を。勇士よ、詩人の業を支える者よ。汝はまことに、父祖たちの前天（pradiv）における近き縁者であり、求めの祭祀において常に「呼びやすき者」となり給う。
