هذا النشيد المتأخر (من مادة الخيلا/الملحق) تعويذةٌ استدعائية «تجلب إلى هنا» الفعاليّات السريعة، متخيَّلةً كجيادٍ تشقّ العوائق كما يشقّها السيل. وباستحضار القوى الوافدة وإقامة قوى الحماية (مثل نافخي الأبواق المُنصَّبين حُرّاسًا)، يهدف إلى تأمين الكسب، والزخم، والنجاح غير المعاق لعمل المؤدّي.

खिलानि । ए॒ता अश्वा॒ आ प्ल॑वन्ते
آياتُ خِيلا (Khila). هذه الخيولُ تَقدُمُ طافيةً إلى ههنا، تَنسابُ كأنّها فوقَ السَّيل.

प्र॒ती॒पं प्राति॑ सु॒त्वन॑म्
إلى المنبع، وبالمقابلة، تتحرّك قوّة الطقس المعصور (سوما)—مُسخَّرةٌ لتجري عكس ما هو ضارّ.

तासा॒मेका॒ हरि॑क्निका
ومن بينهنّ واحدةٌ هي هاريكنيكَا (Hariknikā)—ذاتُ السِّمةِ الشقراء/الحنطيّة، مُفرَدةٌ من بين الجمع.

हरि॑क्नि॒के किमि॑च्छासि
يا هاريكنيكَا (Hariknikā)، ماذا تريدين؟
Mantra 5
सा॒धुं पु॒त्रं हि॑र॒ण्यय॑म्
ابنٌ صالحٌ—كأنّه ذهبيٌّ، متلألئٌ في البهاء والحظّ.
Mantra 6
क्वाह॑तं॒ परा॑स्यः
أين يُضرَب؟—اطرحوه بعيدًا، واصرفوه عن هذا الشخص.

यत्रा॒मूस्तिस्रः॑ शिंश॒पाः
حيث هناك تقوم ثلاثُ أشجارِ śiṃśapā—

وحولها ثلاثةٌ—

المُرَقَّطون (الفهود)—
Mantra 10
शृङ्गं॑ ध॒मन्त॑ आसते
ينفخون في القَرْن، ويجلسون في مقامهم.

अ॒यन्म॒हा ते॑ अर्वा॒हः
هذا لكَ: الجالبُ الجبّارُ إلى هنا.
Mantra 12
स इच्छकं॒ सघा॑घते
هو، ذو الرغبة، يمضي إلى سَغْهاغَتَه (Saghāghata).
Mantra 13
सघा॑घते॒ गोमी॒द्या गोग॑ती॒रिति
«يا سَغْهاغَتَه (Saghāghata)، يا مُشْتَهِيَ البقر—(امنحْ) المسالكَ إلى الماشية»: هكذا هي الصيغة.
Mantra 14
पुमां॑ कु॒स्ते निमि॑च्छसि
رجلاً، يا كُسْتِه (Kuste)، تُجْعِلُهُ يُغْمِضُ (عَيْنَيْهِ)/يَتَلَاشَى.

पल्प॑ बद्ध॒ वयो॒ इति॑
«بالپا—إنَّ القوّةَ الحيويّةَ مُقيَّدةٌ»: هكذا (تجري المقولة).
Mantra 16
बद्ध॑ वो॒ अघा॒ इति॑
«مقيَّدةٌ لكم الشرورُ»—هكذا (تجري الصيغة/المانترا).

अजा॑गार॒ केवि॒का
اليقِظَةُ—كِڤيكَا (Kevikā).
Mantra 18
अश्व॑स्य॒ वारो॑ गोशपद्य॒के
غطاءُ الفرسِ (هو) في غوشاباديَكا (Gośapadyaka).
Mantra 19
श्येनी॒पती॑ सा
هي—قوّةُ سادةِ الصقر (Śyenī).
Mantra 20
अ॒ना॒म॒योप॑जि॒ह्विका॑
العافيةُ—(دفعًا لـ) أوباجِهْفِكَا (Upajihvikā).
They symbolize swift, effective forces that carry prosperity and success to the performer—powers that arrive quickly and overcome obstacles.
It is the ritual goal: to draw the desired benefit into one’s immediate sphere—so gain, strength, or success actually ‘arrives’ and is secured.
As a protective, apotropaic implement: sounding or empowering the horn marks a guarded perimeter, helping prevent obstruction or harm while prosperity is being drawn in.
