एषः संक्षिप्तः त्रिष्टुभ्-स्तोत्रः नासत्यौ अश्विनौ सर्वतो दिशः शीघ्रम् आगन्तुं आह्वयति—यजमानस्य रक्षकौ सन्तौ तमसः परं दूरतरं क्षेमतरं पारं नयताम् इति। वसिष्ठः सुश्लिष्टं स्तोमं प्रस्तौति, यज्ञे स्वपथेषु प्रवर्तमाने; स च युगल-भिषजौ पञ्चधा सर्वतः समृद्धिं सततं च रक्षणं दातुम् प्रार्थयते।

अतारिष्म तमसस्पारमस्य प्रति स्तोमं देवयन्तो दधानाः । पुरुदंसा पुरुतमा पुराजामर्त्या हवते अश्विना गीः ॥
अतारिष्म तमसः पारम् अस्य; देवयन्तः प्रतिस्तोमं दधानाः। पुरुदंसौ पुरुतमौ पुराजाम् अमर्त्यौ अश्विनौ गीः हवते, यद् दीप्त्या सहायशक्तिभिः आगच्छेताम्।

न्यु प्रियो मनुषः सादि होता नासत्या यो यजते वन्दते च । अश्नीतं मध्वो अश्विना उपाक आ वां वोचे विदथेषु प्रयस्वान् ॥
अधुना मनुष्याणां प्रियः होता न्युपविशतु—यो नासत्यौ यजते वन्दते च। हे अश्विनौ, उपाकस्थितं मधु आस्वदतम्; अहं च प्रयस्वान् विदथेषु युवयोः स्तुतिं वक्ष्यामि।

अहेम यज्ञं पथामुराणा इमां सुवृक्तिं वृषणा जुषेथाम् । श्रुष्टीवेव प्रेषितो वामबोधि प्रति स्तोमैर्जरमाणो वसिष्ठः ॥
वयं यज्ञं पथाम् अनुराणाः प्रवर्तितवन्तः; हे वृषणौ, इमां सुवृक्तिं जुषेथाम्। श्रुष्टीवेव प्रेरितो युवयोः प्रति वसिष्ठो बुबोध; स्तोमैः प्रत्युत्तरं ददन् कर्मणः परिपाके वर्धते।

उप त्या वह्नी गमतो विशं नो रक्षोहणा सम्भृता वीळुपाणी । समन्धांस्यग्मत मत्सराणि मा नो मर्धिष्टमा गतं शिवेन ॥
उप त्यौ वह्नी गमेतां विशं नः—रक्षोहणौ सम्भृतौ वीळुपाणी। समन्धांसि च मत्सराणि चापगच्छन्तु; मा नो मर्धिष्टम्—शिवेन भेषजेन सहागतम्।

आ पश्चातान्नासत्या पुरस्तादाश्विना यातमधरादुदक्तात् । आ विश्वतः पाञ्चजन्येन राया यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
