Transliteration

ṛtur janitrī tasyā apaḥ pari makṣū jāta āviśad yāsu vardhate | tad āhanā abhavat pipyuṣī payo ’ṃśoḥ pīyūṣaṃ prathamaṃ tad ukthyam ||

Translation

Ṛtu, a Potência geradora; ao redor dela, as Águas: depressa, mal nascido, ele entrou naquelas em que cresce. Então ela se tornou vaca de leite, inchada de abundância; o leite do caule, o primeiro néctar — isso é digno do hino.
