आ रोदसी अपृणदा स्वर्महज्जातं यदेनमपसो अधारयन् । सो अध्वराय परि णीयते कविरत्यो न वाजसातये चनोहितः ॥
ā ródasī apṛṇad ā svàr maháj jātáṃ yád enam apáso ádhārayan | só adhvarā́ya pári nīyate kavír átyo ná vā́ja-sātaye cánaḥ-hitaḥ ||
Napełnił niebo i ziemię, i napełnił rozległy świetlisty świat, gdy Moce dzieła podtrzymały go przy narodzinach. Wtedy wieszec jest prowadzony dookoła dla ofiary, jak szybki rumak dla zdobycia pełni, umieszczony w nas dla naszego dobra.
