हे वाजिन् सोमा, ‘अघ्न्या’ (अहिंसनीय) दीप्त गायी तुला अभ्यनूषत (स्तुती करतात); तू ‘आयोहत’ (लोखंडाने दृढ/आघातित) योनीत आरोहण करतोस, ‘द्युमान्’ (तेजस्वी) होऊन. दात्यांच्या (मघोनाम्) आयुष्याला कमी करणाऱ्याला प्रतिरुद्ध/दूर करून, तू इंद्रासाठी महत् ‘श्रवः’ (महाकीर्ती) होऊन पवसे; हे वृषा, तूच ‘मद’ (उत्साह-आनंद) आहेस.
