अभि त्रिपृष्ठं वृषणं वयोधामाङ्गूषाणामवावशन्त वाणीः । वना वसानो वरुणो न सिन्धून्वि रत्नधा दयते वार्याणि ॥
abhí trí-pṛṣṭhaṃ vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ vayó-dhāmāṅgūṣā́ṇām avāvaśanta vā́ṇīḥ | vánā vásāno váruṇo ná síndhūn ví ratna-dhā́ dayate vā́ryāṇi ||
ത്രിപൃഷ്ഠനായ, പ്രാണത്തിന്റെ ധാമമായ വൃഷഭനിലേക്കു ഗായകരുടെ ഉച്ചരിക്കുന്ന വാണികൾ വിളിച്ചുയരുന്നു. വനങ്ങളെ വസ്ത്രമായി ധരിച്ചു, വരുണനെപ്പോലെ നദികളിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; രത്നധാരിയായി, ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ വരങ്ങൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
