Transliteration
varivo-dhā́tamo bhava maṃhíṣṭho vṛtrahán-tamaḥ | párṣi rā́dho maghónām ||
Translation
ഹേ സോമ (ഇന്ദു), ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി വിശാലാവകാശം (വരിവസ്) സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നവരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനാകുക; ഏറ്റവും ദാനശീലനും ഏറ്റവും പരാക്രമശാലിയായ വൃത്രഹന്താവും ആകുക. മഘവന്മാർ—ദാനവീരർ—നൽകുന്ന രാധസ് (സമ്പത്ത്/സമൃദ്ധി) ഞങ്ങളെ മറുകരയിലേക്കു കടത്തുക.
