वरिवोधातमो भव मंहिष्ठो वृत्रहन्तमः । पर्षि राधो मघोनाम् ॥

Transliteration

varivo-dhā́tamo bhava maṃhíṣṭho vṛtrahán-tamaḥ | párṣi rā́dho maghónām ||

Translation

હે સોમ (ઇન્દુ), અમારા માટે વિશાળ અવકાશ (વરિવસ્) સ્થાપિત કરનારામાં સર્વોત્તમ બન; સર્વાધિક દાતા, સર્વાધિક પરાક્રમી વૃત્રહન બન. મઘવનો—દાનવીરો—ના રાધસ્ (ધન-સમૃદ્ધિ) અમને પાર ઉતાર.
