अधाकृणोः पृथिवीं संदृशे दिवे यो धौतीनामहिहन्नारिणक्पथः । तं त्वा स्तोमेभिरुदभिर्न वाजिनं देवं देवा अजनन्त्सास्युक्थ्यः ॥

Transliteration

ádhākṛṇoḥ pṛthivī́ṃ saṃ-dṛ́śe divé yó dhautī́nām ahi-hán ā́riṇak páthaḥ | táṃ tvā stómebhir udábhir ná vājínaṃ deváṃ devā́ ajanann sá āsy ukthyáḥ ||

Translation

ನಂತರ ನೀನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ದ್ಯೌ (ಆಕಾಶ)ಕ್ಕೆ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಪ್ರತಿರೂಪವಾಗಿಸಿದಿ; ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಹಿ (ಸರ್ಪ)ನ ಸಂಹಾರಕನಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿ. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು—ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಅಶ್ವದಂತೆ—ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳೂ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿ ಎತ್ತಿದ ಜಲಗಳೂ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರುಗಳು ದೇವನಾಗಿ ಜನ್ಮಕೊಟ್ಟರು; ಅವನೇ ಈ ಉಕ್ತಿಯ ನಿಜವಾದ ವಿಷಯ (ಉಕಥ್ಯ).
