Indra
Gāyatrī
Is mantra mein Indra ko bulaya ja raha hai. Wo taakat ka bail hai aur naya nichoda hua Soma pee raha hai. Use yeh kehte hain ki aas-paas se aao aur madhyam sthan mein aakar khelo. Indra se yeh bhi prayash hai ki wo madhu jaisi meethi cheez ko badhaye. Yeh shakti jeet aur roshni laati hai. Yagya karne wale ko bal deta hai.
Mantra 1
Indra, hum tumhe bulate hain. Tum bail ki tarah balwan ho. Yeh Soma ras pees ke nikla hai, isko piyo. Hume meetha ras do, humare andar shakti bana ke rakho.
Mantra 2
Indra, tum jaante ho kya sahi hai aur kaise karna hai. Yeh Soma le lo, piyo. Bahut log tumhari tarif karte hain. Tumhari shakti badho, dil khush ho jaye, poora satisfaction mile.
Mantra 3
Indra ko pukaro aur kehna ki hamari puja ko aage le chalo. Saare devi-devta uske saath hon. Raste mein jo rukawatein aayein, unko paar karke le jao. Indra sabka malik hai, woh hi is kaam ko poora karega.
Mantra 4
Indra, yeh Som ras tere liye nikala hai. Yeh sab tere paas aa rahe hain. Yeh chamakdar boondein tere ghar ki taraf ja rahi hain. Jaise chandni raat mein roshni hoti hai, waise hi yeh ras tujhe khushi denge.
Mantra 5
Indra, yeh Som ras ko apne pet mein rakh le. Yeh bahut achha ras hai, isko choose karke pi le. Yeh boondein roshni deti hain aur tujhe taakat deti hain. Isse tera dimaag aur tez chalega.
Mantra 6
Indra, humari baatein sunta hai na, tu is Som ras ki hifazat kar. Tere upar meetha ras baha rahe hain, jaise tel malish karte hain. Tu hi badhai deta hai, tu hi naam kamata hai. Yeh sab teri den hai.
Mantra 7
Indra ke aas-paas saari taakatein ikhati ho rahi hain. Yeh kabhi khatam nahi hoti. Som ras pi ke Indra aur bada ho gaya. Ab woh aur zyada chamak raha hai, aur zyada taakatwala ban gaya hai.
Mantra 8
Indra, paas se bhi aa, door se bhi aa. Tu woh hai jo raste ke bandhan todta hai. Hamari yeh baatein sun le. Tu aake andhera hata de.
Mantra 9
Jab hum tumhe pukarte hain, tum beech mein se sunte ho. Door bhi ho, paas bhi ho, tab bhi aa jao. Indra, yahan aa. Hamare beech aa ke roshni la.
It invites Indra to the freshly pressed Soma and asks him to drink it, protect the hymn’s “sweet essence,” and grant strength, victory, and thriving power to the worshippers.
“Bull” is a Vedic image for overflowing strength, virility, and victorious force—Indra is praised as the one whose power can break obstacles and increase abundance.
It is a poetic way of summoning Indra from every direction and distance, urging him to cross the in-between space and arrive effectively “here”—at the rite and within the worshipper’s inner field.
