এই সংক্ষিপ্ত গায়ত্ৰী-ছন্দৰ স্তোত্ৰই সোম-পেষণলৈ ইন্দ্ৰক আহ্বান কৰে—তেওঁ যেন নিজৰ হৰি (তাম্ৰবৰ্ণ) অশ্বসমূহৰ সৈতে আহি যজ্ঞত দীপ্তিমান ৰথত আসন গ্ৰহণ কৰে। তাৰ পিছত ইন্দ্ৰক দ্যৌ-প্ৰিথিৱীৰ ধাৰক বুলি প্ৰশংসা কৰা হয়, যিয়ে প্ৰচুৰ পোষণ স্থাপন কৰে; শেষত বিজয়ী কৰ্মৰ বাবে বজ্ৰ ধাৰণ কৰা হৰি বৃষভ ইন্দ্ৰৰ প্ৰতিমূৰ্তিত ই স্তোত্ৰ সমাপ্ত হয়।

अयं ते अस्तु हर्यतः सोम आ हरिभिः सुतः । जुषाण इन्द्र हरिभिर्न आ गह्या तिष्ठ हरितं रथम् ॥
এই সোম তোমাৰ বাবে—আনন্দদায়ক—হৰিভি (তাম্ৰবৰ্ণ শক্তি)-সহ পিষা। হে ইন্দ্ৰ, ইয়াক গ্ৰহণ কৰি, তোমাৰ হৰিভি-সহ আমাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহা; আমাৰ যজ্ঞক্ষেত্ৰত আহি হৰিত (সেউজ-সোনালী) ৰথত স্থিৰ হৈ বহা।

हर्यन्नुषसमर्चयः सूर्यं हर्यन्नरोचयः । विद्वाँश्चिकित्वान्हर्यश्व वर्धस इन्द्र विश्वा अभि श्रियः ॥
হৰ্যন্ (তাম্ৰাভ দীপ্তি)-সহ তুমি উষাক স্তৱ কৰ; হৰ্যন্-সহ তুমি সূৰ্যক প্ৰকাশিত কৰ। বিদ্বান, বিচক্ষণ, হৰ্যশ্ব (তাম্ৰবৰ্ণ অশ্বযুক্ত) হে ইন্দ্ৰ, তুমি সকলো শ্ৰী—সকলো দীপ্তিময় সিদ্ধি—অভিমুখে বৃদ্ধি পাও।

द्यामिन्द्रो हरिधायसं पृथिवीं हरिवर्पसम् । अधारयद्धरितोर्भूरि भोजनं ययोरन्तर्हरिश्चरत् ॥
ইন্দ্ৰে হৰিধায়স (তাম্ৰ দীপ্তি-ধাৰী) দ্যৌক, আৰু হৰিবৰ্পস (তাম্ৰবৰ্ণ ৰূপে সমৃদ্ধ) পৃথিৱীক স্থাপন কৰি ধৰি ৰাখিলে। তাৰপাছত দুয়ো হৰিতোৰ (দুটা তাম্ৰ শক্তি)-পৰা বাবে প্ৰচুৰ ভোজন স্থিৰ কৰিলে—যাৰ মাজত হৰিশ্চ (দীপ্ত শক্তি) চলি কৰ্ম কৰে।

जज्ञानो हरितो वृषा विश्वमा भाति रोचनम् । हर्यश्वो हरितं धत्त आयुधमा वज्रं बाह्वोर्हरिम् ॥
হৰিত-শক্তিৰ বৃষৰূপে জন্ম লৈ, সমগ্ৰ দীপ্তিমান ৰোচন জগত উজ্জ্বল হৈ উঠে। হৰ্যশ্ব ইন্দ্ৰে হৰিত অস্ত্ৰ ধৰে; বিজয়কৰ্মৰ বাবে তেওঁ বাহুত বজ্ৰ—উজ্জ্বল পৰাক্ৰম—স্থাপন কৰে।
