Transliteration
tváṃ no asi bhāratā́gne vaśā́bhir ukṣábhíḥ | aṣṭā́padībhir ā́hutaḥ ||
Translation
ท่านเป็นของเราทั้งหลาย โอ้อัคนีแห่งภารตะ (Bhārata-Agni); ท่านถูกจุดด้วยพลังอันอ่อนน้อมและด้วยเรี่ยวแรงอันทรงฤทธิ์—ด้วยฉันทลักษณ์ก้าวแปด (aṣṭāpadi) อันก้าวย่างมากมายที่พาเครื่องบูชาเคลื่อนไปข้างหน้า
