Transliteration
śúciḥ pāvaka vándyo ’gne bṛhád ví rocase | tváṃ ghṛtébhir ā́hutaḥ ||
Translation
โอ้อัคนี (Agni) ผู้บริสุทธิ์ ผู้ชำระให้ผ่องใส ผู้ควรแก่การสรรเสริญ ท่านส่องประกายรุ่งโรจน์ในความกว้างใหญ่ไพศาล; ท่านถูกจุดและทวีขึ้นด้วยฆฤตะ (ghṛta, เนยใส) ที่ถวาย—ด้วยแก่นสารอันสว่างไสวซึ่งบูชาภายใน
