Sukta 8.39
यो अग्निः सप्तमानुषः श्रितो विश्वेषु सिन्धुषु । तमागन्म त्रिपस्त्यं मन्धातुर्दस्युहन्तममग्निं यज्ञेषु पूर्व्यं नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
yó agníḥ saptá-mānuṣaḥ śritó víśveṣu síndhuṣu | tám ā́ aganma tri-pástyaṃ mandhātúr dasyuhán-tamam agním yajñéṣu pū́rvyaṃ nabhantām anyaké samé ||
ഏഴുമാനുഷനായ അഗ്നി, എല്ലാ സിന്ധുക്കളിലും സ്ഥാപിതനായവൻ—അവനിലേക്കാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്: ത്രിപസ്ത്യൻ, മന്ധാതൃയുടെ, ദസ്യുഹന്തമൻ—ദസ്യുക്കളെ സംഹരിക്കുന്നവൻ; യജ്ഞങ്ങളിൽ പുരാതന അഗ്നി—വൈരശക്തികൾ മറ്റിടത്തേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോകട്ടെ.
