Sukta 5.49
तन्नो अनर्वा सविता वरूथं तत्सिन्धव इषयन्तो अनु ग्मन् । उप यद्वोचे अध्वरस्य होता रायः स्याम पतयो वाजरत्नाः ॥
tán no anarvā́ savitā́ varū́thaṃ tát síndhava iṣáyanto ánu gman | úpa yád vóce adhvarásya hótā rāyáḥ syāma pátayo vā́jaratnāḥ ||
തന്നോ അനർവാ സവിതാ വരൂഥം—അച്യുതനായ സവിതൃ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് രക്ഷാകവചമായ അഭയം ആകട്ടെ; സിന്ധവഃ (നദികൾ) തങ്ങളുടെ ഇഷാ (പ്രേരണ) കൊണ്ട് മുന്നേറി അതിനെ അനുഗമിക്കട്ടെ. അധ്വരത്തിന്റെ ഹോതൃയായി ഞാൻ യാഗവിധിയിൽ സമീപമായി വചനം ഉച്ചരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഞങ്ങൾ റായഃ (ആന്തരിക സമൃദ്ധി)യും വാജരത്ന (ബലത്തിന്റെ നിധി)യും ഉള്ള അധിപതികളാകട്ടെ.
