साकं हि शुचिना शुचिः प्रशास्ता क्रतुनाजनि । विद्वाँ अस्य व्रता ध्रुवा वया इवानु रोहते ॥
sākáṃ hí śúcinā śúciḥ praśāstā́ kratúnā́jani | vidvā́ṃ asya vratā́ dhruvā́ vayā́ ivā́nu rohate ||
ശുചിയോടു ശുചി—ശുദ്ധിയോടു ശുദ്ധി—എന്നപോലെ, ജ്ഞാനിയായ മാർഗ്ഗദർശകൻ ക്രതു (സങ്കൽപ-ശക്തി) കൊണ്ടു ജനിക്കുന്നു. അവന്റെ ധ്രുവ വ്രതങ്ങൾ (അചഞ്ചല നിയമങ്ങൾ) അറിഞ്ഞ്, പക്ഷി തന്റെ പഥങ്ങളിൽ ഉയരുന്നതുപോലെ, അവയെ അനുഗമിച്ച് ഉറച്ച ക്രമത്തിന്റെ പടികളിലൂടെ അവൻ ഉയർന്നു കയറുന്നു.
