आ यस्मिन्त्सप्त रश्मयस्तता यज्ञस्य नेतरि । मनुष्वद्दैव्यमष्टमं पोता विश्वं तदिन्वति ॥
ā́ yásmint saptá raśmáyas tatā́ yajñásya nétari | manuṣvád daívyam aṣṭamáṃ pótā víśvaṃ tád invati ||
ആരിൽ ഏഴ് രശ്മികൾ വിരിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നു—യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ നേതാവ്—അവൻ മനുഷ്യനിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ആ എട്ടാമത്തെ ദൈവീശക്തിയെ സർവ്വത്തിലും പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു: പോതാ, ശുദ്ധീകരകൻ, സമസ്ത ഹവിയെ അതിന്റെ സത്യത്തിലേക്ക് നീങ്ങുമാറാക്കുന്നവൻ.
