Sukta 10.113
वृत्रेण यदहिना बिभ्रदायुधा समस्थिथा युधये शंसमाविदे । विश्वे ते अत्र मरुतः सह त्मनावर्धन्नुग्र महिमानमिन्द्रियम् ॥
vṛtréṇa yád áhinā bibhrád ā́yudhā samásthithā yudháye śáṃsam ā́vide | víśve te átra marútaḥ sáha tmanā́vardhann ugra mahimā́nam indriyám ||
വൃത്രൻ എന്ന സർപ്പനോടൊപ്പം, ആയുധങ്ങൾ ധരിച്ച്, പ്രശംസ (ശംസ) നേടുവാൻ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി നീ നിലകൊണ്ടപ്പോൾ—ഇവിടെ നിന്റെ എല്ലാ മരുതുകളും തങ്ങളുടെ തന്നെ ആത്മബലത്താൽ, ഹേ ഉഗ്രനായ ഇന്ദ്രാ, നിന്റെ ഇന്ദ്രിയ (വീര്യ) മഹിമയെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.
