Sukta 10.113
वृत्रेण यदहिना बिभ्रदायुधा समस्थिथा युधये शंसमाविदे । विश्वे ते अत्र मरुतः सह त्मनावर्धन्नुग्र महिमानमिन्द्रियम् ॥
vṛtréṇa yád áhinā bibhrád ā́yudhā samásthithā yudháye śáṃsam ā́vide | víśve te átra marútaḥ sáha tmanā́vardhann ugra mahimā́nam indriyám ||
जेव्हा तू वृत्र—त्या अहि (सर्प) विरुद्ध—आयुधे धारण करून, कीर्ती-प्रशंसा मिळविण्यासाठी युद्धास उभा राहिलास, तेव्हा येथे तुझे सर्व मरुत् आपल्या स्वबळाने, हे उग्र, तुझ्या ऐश्वर्ययुक्त इन्द्रिय-पराक्रमाची व महिमेची वाढ करू लागले.
