उदीर्ध्वं जीवो असुर्न आगादप प्रागात्तम आ ज्योतिरेति । आरैक्पन्थां यातवे सूर्यायागन्म यत्र प्रतिरन्त आयुः ॥
udī́rdhvaṃ jīvó ásur na ā́gād ápa prā́gāt táma ā́ jyótir eti | ā́raik pánthāṃ yā́tave sū́ryā́yā́ganma yátra pratiránta ā́yuḥ ||
ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജീവപ്രാണൻ ഉയർന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; തമസ് മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ജ്യോതി ഉദിക്കുന്നു. സൂര്യൻ സഞ്ചരിക്കുവാൻ പഥം തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ആയുസ്സ് നിലനിൽക്കുകയും വർധിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ഥാനത്തെ ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
