Sukta 2.28
तव व्रते सुभगासः स्याम स्वाध्यो वरुण तुष्टुवांसः । उपायन उषसां गोमतीनामग्नयो न जरमाणा अनु द्यून् ॥
táva vraté su-bhágāsaḥ syāma svā́dhyo varuṇa tuṣṭuvā́ṃsaḥ | upā́yana uṣásāṃ gó-matīnām agnáyo ná jaramāṇā ánu dyū́n ||
ໃນພຣະບົດບັນຍັດຂອງເຈົ້າ, ຮາວະຣຸນ, ຂໍໃຫ້ພວກເຮົາເປັນຜູ້ໂຊກດີແລະມີຫົງຕຶກທີ່ຖືກຕ້ອງ, ສັນລະເສີນສັນລະຍົດເຈົ້າ. ຂໍໃຫ້ພວກເຮົາໃກ້ຊິດກັບອຸສາສະເພືອນທີ່ອຸດົມແສງສະຫວ່າງ, ແລະຄືກັບໄຟທີ່ບໍ່ມົວດັບ, ຂໍໃຫ້ພວກເຮົາຕິດຕາມວັນທັງຫຼາຍໂດຍບໍ່ແກ່ນະວິນຍານ.
